Location was good but the ambiance can be updated. I have seen the reviews and reply from manager after confirming my booking through my corporate account, so don’t wanted to change. As I mentioned location was in middle of Downtown and walkable to many local attractions and restaurants. The breakfast provided was good but they almost have same menu every day with very minor changes. Evening snacks on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday are good too. Overall the I have expected much more for the price I have paid during weekdays but the ambiance has to upgraded asap.
Very nice location within the city. Rooms were clean. We had an issue with the tv at first, but we called the front desk and sent someone up right away and fixed it. The complementary breakfast was one of the best we've ever had. The only issues that we had were the low ceilings in the parking garage and that this hotel was not pet free.
The hotel is great. Centrally located and easy to find. Staff are helpful, polite, and very nice. Rooms are very clean, very large, and comfortable. I believe almost everyone of them has a full kitchen. Enjoy your stay while in the pool, gum, spa, or just relaxing in your room. The included breakfast is great with loads of options for everyone.
This was my second time at this hotel and I still think that it is a fantastic hotel located right in the middle of downtown. Not sure if I was upgraded or not but I had a nice room with a full extra living room and essentially a full kitchen. Great for extended stays of course, even if my stay was only one night. Staff was very pleasant and we had a late checkout after a rough night of partying. It is not luxurious but is a well located, clean and practical hotel.
Luved the stay. The rooms are quite big...Heard they are going on a renovation hope they will keep the rooms the same size. Very clean and the staff were great, very helpful and make you feel like a real Prince. The breakfast is hot and served fresh. Parking is extra...and walking distance to all amenities. Its worth every penny you spend. Remember you are in the heart of the city.
This is a nice hotel, especially for longer stays. They provide free hot breakfast buffet style and occasionally have free dinners as well, also buffet style we had burgers one night, Indian the other night. The food isn't fancy, but it is free so no complaints! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is great! It's right downtown near the mall, the market, Parliament etc. Would recommend.
Excellent stay. Staff were fantastic. Memorable service. Free continental breakfast was fresh and hot throughout full 3 hours it was offered. Room very large, clean and updated. Fridge/freezer and stove top in room very convenient.
Stayed 2 nights with family. Downtown location is great. 1-bdrm suite was perfect, with all amenities. Evening appetizers and breakfast were a welcome addition. Pool, spa & gym were well equipped and in good condition. Parking was pricey $25+ but considering the location, it’s to be expected. Wifi was solid.
Our room was basically a one bedroom apartment. Older building/decor but everything was clean and well maintained. Very limited parking if you have an oversized vehicle. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel in a great location, within walking distance to Parliament Hill and many other tourist attractions.
So a lot of other people have made comments in various forums, so I will summarize here. This hotel is dated and is in serious need of a rehab. It's not like the place wasn't packed while I was there so cash flow does not appear to be a problem, so where are the rehab plans? Cost is the same as a newer hotel so that jabbed at me a bit. Nice location and within walking distance to the canal, attractions, and food. Front desk staff were nice. Breakfast buffet was chaos, but decent food.
