First time dining here and was not disappointed. Friend and I enjoyed a great dinner at a great price! Who wouldn’t love a $12 steak sandwich! Cooked just right, mushrooms and onions extra but only $1 each. Cesar salad and garlic toast very tasty, as well. Lovely, friendly waitress, nice and clean establishment. Will definitely be back. Give it a try, peeps!

Love the steak sandwich for lunch, they do it better and cheaper. Nice cozy atmosphere, ask for Troubled Monk beer. It's been awhile since I've been here and omg, the prime rib keeps getting better. You cannot beat the price, just under $18.99. Portion was just right of 10 oz Alberta beef, farm fresh locally sourced veggies, garlic mashed potatoes with a light au jus gravy, tasty not to strong horse radish. Blue berry crumble topped off the succulent meal. Always friendly, very professional staff - great job Russell. We'll be back!!

Remington's Grill has been a mainstay for Red Deers best Steak Sandwich for over 40 years. It has an otherwise wonderful menu as well, but it's hard to beat the top grade steak and it's price over all these years.

This used to be my favorite place to come and have chicken fingers and fries... best place in town for them! They got a new chef and everything is completely different and now my once favorite dish there tastes the same as all the other places... plus they raised the prices and took chicken fingers and fries off the kids menu...? Very strange.

Honestly, the $12 lunch special is absolutely ridiculous. Like, it's a good 50% UNDERpriced. We had massive pints of beer for only $7 apiece, and the lunch special was a lovely prime rib and cheddar beef melt sandwich on garlic toast and came with the soup and salad bar. When's the last time you had a *salad bar*? One visit to this one and you'll wonder why on Earth they stopped being a thing. Fresh greens. Caesar salad. Crab salad. Bean and quinoa salad. Pasta salad. Potato salad. Coleslaw. Crudité. Clam chowder. And this wonderful cabbage and fennel soup. SO GOOD. We had a nibble of literally all of it, and it was *all* great, bar none. Truly, this would've been solid at $24 per person, and a deal at $18. But for twelve bucks, it's outright highway robbery...go before they figure out that they're not charging enough for lunch!
