Rembrandt & Rutabagas Bed and Breakfast

I stumbled upon Rembrandt and Rutabagas in a Mid Century Modern group on Facebook. I was thrilled when I discovered it was only a little more than an hour away in the most beautiful countryside of Wisconsin. Shortly after discovering R&R my husband and I stayed for two nights in one of the newly remodeled MCM inspired rooms. Jane made us feel like family! We were introduced to her lovely cats, made breakfasts that were dietary restriction friendly and given local attractions to explore. Jane even set up a tour for us with the nicest gentleman at the A.D. German Warehouse in Richland Center. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and exploring God's Country! We will be back!

We have stayed here three times, each time lovely. Beautiful environment, exceptional views, excellent host, comfortable beds. Jane is very flexible and accommodating regarding breakfast (and really, regarding everything). She knows the area so well and provides expert advise about what to see, where to eat, etc.

Stylish and comfortable place, welcoming atmosphere. Unique combination of modern and authentic farm surroundings. Convenient place if you go kayaking on Wisconsin river. Breakfast is great, everyone gathers for 9am and exchange area tips and suggestions.
