Regano's Roman Coin

My wife and I stayed at a nearby Airbnb and ventured here for a nightcap a few nights in a row. It felt like a cozy small town bar that was really welcoming. Great bartenders, good beer selection, but cash only so come prepared.

Small town establishment feel. Nothing fancy about it, but it's not trying to be either. Patrons often bring their pets and it's a cash only place - there's an ATM, but prepare to be gouged by the transaction fee. Bathrooms could use a little TLC, but again, this is who they are and it's fine with me. Prices are as expected - cheap and plenty of specials, especially on the weekdays. I got a $2 Hamm's tallboy.

Stopped in to play pool and grab a drink of bourbon. Dom was awesome to us. We were stopping in on the way home to TN and wanted to hit a game of pool. $1 in quarters and got change broken for us. Cash only but they got an ATM - just in case it's your first time through. It was a great stop in Milwaukee!

Cool dive bar with some street seating. If you're there and Keith is working you'll know because he will talk about wrestling and polka music. In my mind Keith is definitely the best employee there, because he is the only employee there that I have ever met.

One of my favorite bars! They make a great peppered bloody mary!

Bring cash and talk to locals. It's great!

Great local bar, esp if you want to take a dog. Rob is awesome behind the bar too. Super friendly, funny, and helpful.

OK so first off just know I don't make it to the City that often but my Son wanted to get Thai food across the street and we got a drink at Regano Roman Coin and let me tell you it was just so fun! We went and it was a anniversary party for the bar! I had no idea, we just went before dinner! Such a fun spirit here and I talked to Terry, who gave us a special anniversary beer I am a Red Wine drinker myself. The only down sides is that they only take Cash and I usually don't carry any, expecially in the City. My Son had to pay LOL, good for him!

A great place to grab a beer if you have two legs or four!

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable bar tender, local beer and pool for 75 cents!
