I had an amazing experience today! Working with a new hairdresser is always a little stressful, but Troy quickly put my mind at ease.  He understood my hair "challenges" and I have many! immediately. I am very new to Calgary & desperately needed to find a hair salon and stylist that I loved & that’s exactly what I found with RedBloom. I get my hair coloured by Sam and she is amazing. I have truly never had a hair stylist give me the colour & dimension I wanted the first try. The staff are all very welcoming and answer any questions that I have. I really should keep Lauren a secret because if word gets out what an amazing job she can do with my long thick wavy hair I will have to start scheduling her months in advance! When I say I have a lot of hair I mean I have a lot of hair. I have had so many bad hair thinnings and bad hair cuts because the individual who was cutting my hair at the time had no clue as to what they were doing. It is so hard to find someone who can take my hair needs on and know what would work best for me. Lauren has a talent of knowing exactly how to thin, cut, layer and style my wavy hair where I feel like a million bucks when I leave the salon. Ever have a hair cut where you make it home and couldn't style it like the stylist did? Well, I have and it's not fun! Lauren's styles are done with ease where I can do the hair style at home myself and feel like I could model hair for a living! So there you have it I won't be selfish and keep Lauren to myself and be made to evidently have to schedule in advance. Go check out Lauren she is amazing! Sarah at East Village is a true hair artist! She was attentive, creative in ideas for improvements to my hair cut and I absolutely love the change she gave me. I went shorter and and so happy with the result. She also gave me a beautiful highlight and root coverage that gently reflects my inner beauty and is subtle which is exactly what I was hoping for!  Sarah is kind and friendly and clearly and expert in her field. I was worried as I wanted a change but didn’t know what and she figured it all out that the process was fun and easy! Always amazing service! Myriam always does a fabulous job on my hair! I have not the best natural curl, but she has looked after my hair amazingly over the years! The salon is great, all the staff are so friendly! So happy I found Red Bloom, and Myriam!

I don’t recommend after this experience.  I told the stylist that My hair had been burned previously by other 2 other hairdressing salons in other places during highlighting years ago.  I requested care this time.  We had a consult too.  However, it seems To have happened again.  My hair is frayed again.  It seemed like the hairdresser was in a rush or just it wasn’t her day and wasn’t paying attention.  It seemed she did it more how she wanted it, NOT  how I asked, because the hair cut ended up different completely than a pic I showed.  As new mom, I wanted to do something nice for myself.  I came with healthy hair and came out of the salon with completely burned hair. I was depressed for three days. It’s been a week and I am still depressed and feel self concious to even go outside like this. I spent a lot of money, but wasn’t happy at the end.  Perhaps it was just not the day, but i just feel apprehensive about going back, and just doing highlights ever again in general.

I tried out RedBloom’s East Village Salon for the first time this week. I had my hair cut by one of the apprentice stylists, Trevor Gieske. It was a great experience. He listened very carefully to what I wanted, did a thorough analysis of my existing cut, took his time, paid great attention to detail throughout the cat, and I am thrilled with the results. I am very happy to recommend Trevor as a stylist And RedlBloom as a salon.

I'm a transgender woman and I went here today to get my hair coloured and styled in a feminine way. I was a little nervous, but the staff were super friendly and sweet and they made me feel perfectly comfortable. The style and colour came out AMAZING, I'm extremely pleased with the result. Just one word. OLIVIA!!!! Ok, maybe a few more. TALENTED, LOVELY and CREATIVE!  She exceeded my expectations!! I was in a hair rut and ready to try something completely different!  She gave me the best color and cut I’ve ever had! I always had frizzy hair, or so I thought. Olivia’s skilled cut and recommended hair products revealed I just hadn’t met the right hair stylist! I have also brought my 3 daughters who all have completely different hair and she amazed even them! You will NOT be disappointed!

Olivia is a personable and professional stylist who always makes me feel welcomed. Not only is she delightful to be around, she makes my baby fine hair look and feel full! I highly recommend Olivia to anyone and everyone looking for that next level stylist experience.Services:&nbsp;Hairstyling
