Red Tail Lodge

Attended when it was fairly busy. The lodge was absolute chaos. The cafeteria workers could not keep up with the demand and there was little to no food available in the food court. Chicken fingers, fries, and a drink was more than $20. You can pay the same price for a full sit-down meal upstairs at the restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous prices, and they weren't even good chicken fingers. The cafeteria was absolutely gross. There was no room to sit anywhere because people camp out at tables or don't clean up after themselves and leave huge messes so there is just nowhere to sit. People were sitting on the floor and anywhere they could find space. The floors were absolutely disgusting. There was no custodial staff or other staff visible to help mitigate the situation.

This is the base lodge where I ski at Mountain Creek. Nice rustic architecture with multiple places to eat and lounging areas with fireplaces. The main cafeteria has some truly good soups and chowders that can be had in a bread bowl. If you want pizza, go upstairs for the wood fired real deal served on a wooden peel. There is also a full bar upstairs. When it's open, there is also a fancy restaurant on the main level that has an interesting menu.

U fortunately you have to pass thru yuck yo get to the venue for wedding upstairs. But great staff, all very helpful. The ride to the top of the hill was fun. And the view amazing.Service: 5/5

Accommodating as one could desire for special events. Kyle, Jackie, and crew go above and beyond to assist however possible. Great atmosphere and vibes!

Just went to a wedding there for the first time. Great rustic place. Food was good, atmosphere nice and wait staff was attentive. Recommend the venue highly!

Kind of expensive, but this was the best buffet I ever had! All you can eat lobster tails, duck, carving station, excellent courteous service, and a beautiful fireplace!
