Red Roof Inn & Suites Lake Orion/Auburn Hills

I will start off by saying this, the young lady at the front desk was everything you could ask for when it comes to total customer satisfaction. She was very helpful, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable of all aspects. The room was very clean, presentable, and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The king size bedroom is what I would call spacious and comfortable. I must now close my eyes and rest before the One Republic concert. I hope this was helpful. Oh yeah, there is a pool and small workout area on the main floor. Good day!!!

Love love love. The mirror on the wall in jacuzzi room was nice surprise!! Customer Service each time I have gone has always been on point. My room clean and the bathroom was clean. I will definitely be back.

If you take your own pillows to this hotel, they won't provide housekeeping if you leave your pillow on the bed. They won't even touch the bathroom! High room rrates and you have to make your own bed and get clean towels! Solution: only stay one night or find some place else! It would have been so much easier to just post rules in the room or provide written notice st chack in. Think I deserve a rebate for doing the housekeeper's job!

Our first room smelled of smoke so they changed us to another. It smelled like wet dog but after dosing the carpets with Lysol spray we managed to improve the odor from wet dog to dog breath. Still not great but better than smoke and we were unwilling to try our luck on a third room. The paint looks bad and numerous hasty repairs have obviously been made to this room. Sloppy workmanship, low maintenance and poorly cleaned. Oh, and there was a blood stain on the towel. The staff was excellent and cordial. Breakfast included bagels, doughnuts, cereals, and the standard waffle maker. Better than a $35 motel but for the money I'll stay somewhere else next time

We checked in on the 8th amd left on the 14th if this month. Everything seemed okay until one night i went up to wash clothes and there was a man who was on drugs flashing everyone his private area the cops were called and chris the manager allowed him to stay even though there was children in the hotel. He said he was giving him one more chance. I guys thats the kind of business they want to run. Then when we went to check out our car wouldnt start amd chris yet again came to me and said there were towels missing. So i went in there and either he lied or room service lied because they were all in the corner of the bathroom. Nobody wants their body fluid stained dollar store towels. We bring our our own towels at every stay. The breakfast is bread bagels and cereal and they stare at you making you feel uncomfortable like paying $75 a night isnt enough for their low end breakfast that they claim to be hot. There is alot of hookers here. The pool area in the middle of winter they allow people to stand with the door open while they smoke getting everyone sick. Its a very run down place. Allen was super amazing such a friendly man eho is doing an honest job at trying to make this hotel better. Its management chris Espically who gives this hotel a bad bad name. I contacted corporate and the BBB to complain about chris amd this red roof inn. Giving them 600 in business i expected more respect and class
