Town & Country Motel

This place is gross. The toilet was nasty and plugged the shower was dirty. There was big bugs everywhere. The bedding was not clean and there was hair all over the pillows. No cups in room or towels. The floor was disgusting with dirt and hair. No telephone in room. I didn't have to unlock the door when I walked in. I wouldn't advise this place to anyone. I should of gotten my money back.

this place is a joke. 210 a week, our fridge was broken and leaking water everywhere, the shower is broken and needs constant readjusting and scaleded my wife several times throughout her shower. we didnt have the money for anoth er night at first, so my wife called LOVE inc, and tried to get some help so we didn't end up on the street. when we returned to the room before 11am with cash in hand, she was treated terribly, told to pack and leave for Liu g to the LOVE inc program. she never lied at all, just told them that us and out stuff would be on the street if we didn't find some assistance. the owner would not hear reason, would n out accept our money and hung up on everyone that tried to talk to them about the misunderstanding. this place is terrible. they are rude and the sign says free continental breakfast when there is none. two days costed us 110 and when we tried to give them the other 110 to extend to a full week to try to save some cash and continue to stay, we were turned away and refused any kind of compassion or understanding. I will never re commend this hotel to anyone. if you're going to pay 55 a night, the money is better spent at red oaks, holiday inn, or best western. the furniature in the room is all busyed up as well , and when we got there, the drawers still had trash and medications from a previous client. zero stars from me , I hope someone buys them out and makes it a nicer establishment

Thee worst motel ever to stay at because if you don't gossip like the little girl who works there they will kick you out and they will take your money and say you didn't pay and if you pay with money they will use your money for themselves and the people that stay in room 4 do not stay here your better off going to the other hotels in lapeer and get your money worth

I recently called the Town & Country Motel in Lapeer to make a reservation for an employee. The lady on the phone that day was very friendly, told me it was a nice locally owned motel. I explained my employee would not arrive until late in the evening, and gave them my credit card number to hold the reservation. That night, my employee arrives and there is no room being held, and the girl behind the front counter was drunk. We ended up driving to Lapeer that night to pick up our employee, and have another one driver the vehicle from there. I called the motel the next day and was told that I should have called to remind them that I was coming. After being called several inappropriate names over the phone by the "owner" I hung up. I would never recommend this motel to anyone ever, simply because they do not care about anything, drive to the next city or wherever you must go, do not support a business such as this, that gives all small business owners a bad name!
