Red Roof Inn Chicago - Joliet

Rooms are clean, front desk clerk was very respectful, and friendly. Free WiFi, and cable. Very quiet atmosphere, was not bothered at all during stay from other guests. No complaints, highly recommend this place!

Great rates, veterans discount and pet friendly at no extra cost. Nothing fancy but the rooms are clean. Would stay here again.

We stayed the weekend for Nascar. We came earlier than the 3pm check in time. Just to see if there was any luck if we could get our room so we can get ready to head to the race. The minute we walked into the office David had a rude attitude said that no rooms are ready! We then explained that for the past four years red roof was always so kind and found a room available for checkin before 3pm. And David again with his sassy attitude said not ready until 3pm because they were SOLD OUT the night before (thursday 9/14). He said that he didnt need to check us in. So we waited! We came back at 3pm and David again with his attitude said, "are you calm now? I thought i had to take off my belt and give you a spanking. I have a sucker, let me give you one for being good" This was not professional behavior and I am not okay with how I was talked too. It made my stay very uncomortable.

Had to wipe the shower down with an extra washclothe before using. The AC unit is so loud that I've shut it off when trying to sleep. The reason it's two stars instead one is the staff was super nice and friendly.
