We were there for the Humming Bird Festival in August 2017.  This place is easy to get to via car.  Plenty of parking (A.D.A. available) for the festival in the field (with police directing traffic (yes traffic and lots of it for the Humming Bird Festival)), then a short walk around, or over if you choose, the winter time sledding hill to the festival vendors and the main nature center.  What a neat place even without the festival going on.  There are walking/biking/horse trails, a campground, a pond, and a kids play area.

Great kid's programs and helpful staff!  Nice facility in a beautiful setting.
