Just passed by and needed to kill time before our appointment so decided to check them out. Nice atmosphere! Pretty short time there so only poutine and a glass of beer but wow, we liked both. Service needed improve because the bartender who wasn't busy at all just a couple people to here wasn't even smile at us or greeted us. I felt like are we welcome here? My husband liked their beer, it was good I can say even I am not a fan of beer so might drop by just for beer not dine in. Ps: the waitress she was pretty nice and good service so thanks to her i felt welcome to sit there
Food, good! Beer awesome! Service, hands down the worst we've come across in the local breweries. We sat at the bar, bartender was more interested in being on his phone and chatting non stop to the patrons next to us, and ignored us. We would have ordered more if asked. Also had the pleasure of watching the waitress eat Spitz while tapping the POS system and filling pint glasses, all the while not washing her hands in between taking shells out of her mouth... and looked like she just got out of bed, wearing sweats and tshirt, not very pleasant when we had to ask for service... and not once were we offered water. Not sure if I would send time here again unfortunately. P.S. great merch options
Service and food definitely stood out for us. They hired a new cook for the food truck who just loves what he does, and it shows! He's also very welcoming, which just enhanced the whole experience.
Really disappointing experience. We’ve always come here for great drinks and diner food from the food truck. Checked online before we went and nothing said the food truck was closed. Showed up and apparently the food truck employee was fired weeks ago but again - no information on instagram or website. Employees did great doing their best. Tried to order drinks and things were unavailable/out of stock. Tried something new instead - I ordered the same drink twice and each one looked and tasted totally different but they were still good but inconsistent. Leads me to wonder about the management and who is handling customer experience. Regret inviting our friends all the way out from Vancouver to meet us here, next time we will go where we can count on consistent positive experiences. This has become a glorified liquor store.
First time going to this place was not very welcoming. The bartender was not friendly at all. Not helpful at all when we asked about the beers. Very unfortunate because we really liked the beers that we tried but the feel of the place sucked. Very disappointing.
I went to buy a beer and food and then of 20 minutes waiting for the food I ask what happens and they told me where forget about my order, really? That is your service? If you want have a nice time don't come here.
AMAZING! Red Racer has a well-curated menu with unique, fresh, and scrumptious foods. Highly recommend the 'Smoked Chicken Club' and fries hands down the best fries I have ever had, and the creative weekly specials. This roadside food truck does a modern, trendy twist on diner food - great for vegetarians and vegans too!
Been there number of times. Great food, nice environment and friendly staff. Def going back again
Extremely slow, disorganized and uninterested in attending to their customers. Not going back. Wish I’d read reviews first
The food is very good, nice crispy fries. The smell of hops when you walk into the adjacent brewery smells like piss though. Great place.
