The Red Jug in Cortland is a staple for the college bar scene. During the night hours it's always packed. Live music, good drink specials (including their mug group). As well as decent service. Even draws a decent crowd in the summer months.

If you're not into dancing and just like going to bars where you just hang out and drink, this is probably the best bar for that especially for the college students. When I went to school up there I always went there either first or second because there are other bars that have dancing which I liked doing. It can get pretty packed on the weekends but still a good bar
