Dasher's Corner Pub

Yesterday was my first time here! Food and staff was amazing. The only thing I would say is less seating on the right side would be great. I felt like I was having dinner with strangers I was so close. Felt bad that the waitresses have to stick their butts in your face when they give other people's food. I'd definitely wait for better seating.

This was a "grab a bite off the highway" stop for me and my daughter which turned out to be a great find! The menu was much more than you'd expect from a small neighborhood pub. Great beer menu and a nostalgic mixed drinks offering bring this meal full circle. The raw Blue Point Oysters we started with were as fresh as could be and shucked proper. The 26oz. Tomahawk Ribeye was cooked to perfection and the veg and potato were perfect. Staff here were pleasant and accommodating even at the late hour we had arrived. All in all I'd definitely return were it not 5 hours away from my home, but if I'm up this way I'll surely remember the spot for our break from driving.

Great service! The food comforting and great portions. I had the muffaletta with steak fries. The Banana Cream Pie was worth the drive up! Pub like atmosphere with down home appeal.

I have eaten at Dashers many times but was quite dismayed when I dined there with two friends last Wednesday night. I ordered a beef tenderloin as I often do and one of my friends ordered a surf and turf with a tenderloin for the turf. Both these steaks were unbelievably chewy and tough, and mine was not very tasty. I mean you had to saw at them with a serrated knife!! This was unusual since I usually get a very nice tenderloin there. When the waitress remarked that I hadn't eat all my steak I told her it was the worst tenderloin I had ever had and to take the remnants to the chef so he could see what he had served. She returned with no explanation for the chef and I was charged full price for my meal as was my friend who also got a very chewy tough piece of tenderloin. I fee that they should have discounted my meal as well as the other one. One of my friends lives across the street from Dashers so I will likely dine there again but I will always have a bad taste in my mouth from my last experience there and be very leery about ordering a steak there again.

Hands down the best place in town. Love the menu. Love the outside seating.
