Real Canadian Superstore

This store is pretty awful for the following reasons. Maybe management will take note and correct some of these issues. 1) NO BASKETS - they have had no baskets or very limited supply since June 2017. EVERYtime I walk in the store there is none available. They say people have stolen them and agree its anissue andit’s been since summer. That’s 9 months ago, buy more!! 2) PREPARED FOOD - what happened over the past year it went downhill. Now everything is packaged cannot buy over the counter, the prices are ridiculous for 50% of these items. When a tiny container of noodles cost $6 common! They always have meals that expire the same day or next. It’s because no one wants it anymore. I understand. 3) CASHIERS DO NOT BAG - I didn’t go to No Frills, bag my groceries! Even when there is no one behind you and they have nothing to do, they still don’t help! When they are busy and do not bag it causes delays for the next person. Provide some freaking service to your customers. 4) ONLY ONE CASHIER LANE OPEN AFTER 10:30PM - if you want to do some late night shopping go to Walmart. Do you know how frustrating it is when you go for a few items and have to wait 15 minutes in the only lane behind people who have 1000 items. They even close the self serve lanes at 10:30. Common! Keep them open!

Usually when you think of super store, you think of the higher end grocery store, when I went in tonight, all I could think was wow. Shelves bare, and the produce section was deserted, things all over the place leaving the store looking trashy. Mean while 4 employees are standing around just talking and joking. The amount on trash on the floor was shocking aswell.

I like the variety of products even though it's a bit expensive. My main problem is they sell expired food... And even worse, you can easily find products with many price stickers on top of each others as they extend the expiry date!!! The bakery department is the worst for expired goods, along with the dairy. Very deceiving... Other places sell their almost expired items at 50% off. They may not make as much money but they have my respect.

The staff are great, ran out of a special on the floor so they ran to the back and brought out more as soon as I asked. It was also easy to find the staff.

A bit expensive but the sushi here is good. Good variety of everything
