Food Basics

It was a great experience when we asked a clerk at the Midland, Ontario Food Basic store, if they had any Brownberry Stuffing, she quickly told us they certainly do & offered to retrieve some from the storage room out back then brought us several boxes. It was super because in our home town of Hamilton This stuffing is difficult to find. My family love this stuffing whenever we have Turkey at Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's as well as at Easter. We appreciate the extra time she spent assisting us today. Thank you again Mrs. Darlene McBeth.

It's Food Basics, what can you say they are all the same. I do agree with the previous reviewer that it is a little slow checking out of there. And it is set up that you can't start bagging until you pay then your groceries are splayed everywhere on that DBL? Conveyer? Most won't even look at you so that you don't ask for help even though you patiently waited through (except for the two nice mature ladies) the longest item by item beep. And also they could do without running out of items on sale and saying come back Monday/Tuesday...

Good selection and great prices. Place is showing signs of wear and tear but it is kept clean. I have never had any issues with their groceries or dealing with staff.

Nice flowers cashier was quick and efficient others on the floor were courteous and friendly.

Good place to go and check for deals, not always thr cheapest on everything though
