RBC Royal Bank

I have always received the best service be it in person, or on the phone. I appreciate not having to listen to repetitive sales pitches when talking to staff, which I experienced each and every visit with a competitive bank in town. My last correspondence concluded with detailed information in an email with an actual person to connect with as required. Polite, patient and helpful.

ive had numerous issues with the quality of treatment to me as of late..i was born in kelowna and have been at that bank my entire life..to many woman in one work area..obviously its having an affect on how men..or certain men will be treated..i dont hold money here anymore..when i can..because they always claim to never recognise Alberta miney orders and lie to hold the cheques regularly...i cash my cheques to take money away from this bank as a result of the treatment to me. horrible and slow

There's always a line at the business window and always just one girl working it very slowly. There's is no concern to get business personal looked after as quick as possible. The laziness attitude of the staff is one reason I'll never hold a bank account here.

Just got back from the bank, horrible experience, I've been with this bank since 2007, I choose them at the time because, banking with them was supposed to be easy. I still had issues getting my checks cashed without having them held for a week so I had my limit increased after the first year. I haven't had a steady income for the past year so I used my account less and less until I was just using it pretty much to cash a check once in a while, last time I had problems and was told that if I used the machine I wouldn't have any problems... not so. This time I put the money in and then wanted to withdraw it as my limit is higher than my check, I have deposited checks from this company before so I couldn't foresee any problems, however I forgot my machine limit was $1000. I withdrew my limit leaving 50 dollars of my money in the bank. Today I came to collect the rest for rent and was denied, apparently because I tried to withdraw my money I was flagged for fraud. 3 member from the bank told my my transaction was strange and unusual. There was no understanding on their side, no compassion and no attempt on their part for remedy. To put it simply they don't care, sometime next week the check will clear as there is no fraud and I will be closing my account. Please don't make the same mistake I made in choosing RBC, you might not regret it today but, the day will come. At the least don't use this branch, there is one in Rutland and one downtown.
