RBC Royal Bank

One of the best bank branches of all that I know of. The staff always made me feel like family, even though I don't know any of them outside this bank. There are always smiles, always a welcoming feeling at this bank... I feel that everyone who came in through those doors experienced the same. Great people make great banks.

I have been banking with RoyalBank for over 30yrs. The best bank in Canada!. However branches like this brings so bad experience in every aspect. I walked into the bank on a saturday, 2 people called themselves customer service rep at the front asked me if they could help. I said yes, I had a simple question. I got the typical answer "it depends" indicating that the gentleman did not know the info. He reached to the next person , a woman supposedly manager, repeated the same answer as they were robots. then the entertainment started, she said that she has account at TD and CIBC, worst banks to deal with. I said that was not my question. my question was very specific to how I pay LOC at your bank. all of the sudden I was asked to keep quiet by the gentleman and the so called manager stared at me and walked into her office. I was left to guess whether I should stay and wait for them to come back with an answer. The gentleman says I can leave if I wanted. Extremely disappointed with this branch. Weekend staff is so bad. there are some good bank tellers but these 2 people stopped me at the door thinking that they could answer me. I should have gone to the tellers straight. I went to another branch, got the answer in 5 mins. Clearly this branch is not interested in preserving their client's interest. People like that bring really bad reputation to the bank. I will continue to bank at Royal bank but not at this branch. Something fundamentally wrong.

This one star is just for two nice tellers that are working there. It has a really unprofessional, unfriendly and unskilled branch manager called April Mantle. After being 10 years RBC loyal customer, telling me if you are not happy from our services, close your accounts. They should kick her out for her poor customer Service.
