Amazing natural wonder in the city! Accessible by car with easy please or public transit. It was closed all summer in 2017, but will hopefully open in the near future. A rare gem.

Very nice park with open areas along the water and then a bird reserve across the bridge. Apparently there are many birds and animals that you can't really see where else in Montreal, great to have this in the city. Thru open area is also really nice with bike paths and green space.

Lachine Rapids, the St. Lawrence River, surfers, public art installations. If you walk a ways upriver, the surfers are right by the shore, making for an entertaining place to stop.
