The staff and general manager are absolutely outstanding! They go above and beyond!nWe stayed at this hotel for a month while waiting on our house. With my significant other, 6 month old, a teenager, my son and his girlfriend and my 2 year old grandson myself and our beloved furry 4 legged pupnnAnd they have hosted birthday parties, family reunions, team-group, company meetings and probably more people that I didn’t meet.nThe front has a beautiful new gazebo with chairs and picnic tables, BBQ and a propane fire pit!nThe swimming pool and hot tub are well maintained and clean. not to mention the big slide that shoots you into the pool! My kids and myself had a ton of fun in the evenings.nTheir gym equipment is well placed and newer. The little snack/essentials store is stocked with almost everything you can think of including board games!nnEven though the hotel was struck by lightning when we were there. The staff offered to carry luggage and my baby stroller up and down the stairs, going above and beyond what was expected!nnThe breakfast is always hot and fresh! The kids loved the pancake machine and the coffee was always hot and fresh! Tables and counters clean and well looked after!nnI can’t say enough good things about this hotel, the GM Karen and her staff!!nnAnd being a hockey mom of 3 older teenagers and having worked in the oil patch. I have seen a lot of hotels in my past!
Very overpriced and heat control is horrendous, breakfast unsatisfactory. $200 for a cramped hotel room. Heat control completly nonsensical. At 23 it's spitting air conditioning and the room is freezing, at 24 it's sweltering. We had a sleepless night with freezing and sweating and at 6am the alarm in our room hotel clock started going off. Never have I awoken to an alarm in a hotel which I didn't set.nWent for breakfast. Eggs must've been days old, no fresh fruit and gluten free and dairy free items very very few and far in between. I asked the lady at the front for a tea bag for normal, orange pekoe black tea as opposed to having to use the Keurig and she very rudely said no, they don't have any other tea bags while looking at me like I had 3 heads!nNo fresh fruit, no alternative milk options. Lactose free and gluten free essentiallu non-existent, minus some bacon and Chex cereal.nWaterslide and pool were nice, but something stabbed my toe when I was in the pool and the corners of the hot pool appeared pretty mouldy, so I think its overdue for a good clean. Hoping I don't get an infection. Won't be staying here again. I usually enjoy Ramada, but not this one.
From unforseen circumstances, we had to book a hotel and I've never stayed here before. The rate was decent and it looked nice from the photos online.nnOnce we arrived we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk lady. Upon arriving at the room we were pleasantly surprised how spacious it was.nnIt had the usual items, TV, mini fridge, desk, microwave. It also had an ironing board, iron and hair dryer. The shower had perfect pressure and just the right temperature.nnThe King-sized bed proved to be amazing. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in a hotel. Plenty of pillows and a comfy duvet.nnThe breakfast was amazing. Hot omelettes, bacon, hash browns and pastries were available. As well as hot oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs and a variety of cereals. All in a very inviting breakfast area. The Best thing about the breakfast was the French Vanilla yogurt machine with the chilled berries and granola.nnTruly a 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend!
Went up to visit Grandkids and had a very enjoyable stay. Convenient location, rooms were clean, beds comfy, staff very accommodating and friendly with a huge shoutout to Karen! We will definitely stay with you again! Thank you so much for the great experience
You guys, they actually have a gym. Not the kind that's an abandoned hotel room w a half rack of weights, but a dedicated space to crush it. Love that it overlooks the pool/waterslide so the kids can play while I play.nnCarpets need a refresh but other than l that, this is a clean, friendly and quiet hotel sold out while we stayed here so that's amazing w a good breakfast.
