I guess I should have read the other reviews for this hotel before I booked it. Reading them now, my complaints seem trivial. First thing I noticed is there was an empty corner of the room where a comfy chair normally would be, but they only offer the comfy chairs in rooms on the 6th floor and all those rooms were booked. My stay was not as bad as others but still surprisingly mediocre for a Radisson. And why does their complimentary breakfast stop at 8:00 a.m.?
I am not someone who typically leaves negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was not properly maintained, with visible stains on the pillowcases and curtains, and there appeared to be mold in the shower area. The room also had an unpleasant odor throughout my stay.nnMost concerning was that I did not feel comfortable or safe during my time at the property due to the overall condition and cleanliness of the facilities. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to others and would not choose to stay here again. Only 1 star because the front desk staff were friendly
Beware of scamming from this hotel! They took advantage of two members of our company by unfairly retaining their damage deposit fees. One was charged $300 for previous damage and a small stain, the other was charged $50 for dirt on a face cloth. This was followed by absolutely horrible customer service where contact with a manager was refused and no name for reference was given by the front desk agent. Discrimination suspected because of the demographic of both who were accused.
Place is a scam, took a 300$ damage deposit for pre existing “damage” and a dirty towel. Staff and manager rude as, refused to give their names because they know what they are doing is wrong. Rooms are nasty as well. So many other options in Fort St. John, don’t stay here. Would give a 0 star review if possible.
Reserved a room with 2 beds that wasnt available when i arrived but was rented another room with a single bed for $30 more per night. The staff was completely rude when returning from the store with a bag of food from safeway i was actually followed all the way to the elevator and interogated on the elevator about what i was doing there and where i was going. The room i finally did get was filthy dirty to the point i had to have a maid come and clean it again. The raddison is hands down the worst hotel around and i would rather sleep on the streets than ever stay there again. Oh and they also never refunded me the $168 for the initial reservation that wasnt available upon my arrival. The raddison should be shut down in my honest opinion. -100* rating from me and definitely DO NOT stay there.
