Mission

The Food Bank efficiently and effectively obtains resources and facilitates distribution of food and necessities to Racine County individuals and families in need, through a network of direct service providers. Our goal is to equalize distribution of resources through the community and to serve as an advocate on behalf of the community in reducing hunger.

* Collaborate on national, regional and local food drives, i.e., Piggly Wiggly "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive, National Letter Carrier "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive and the Boy Scout's "Scouting For Food" drive

* Collaborate with other social service agencies on operation of Racine's Central Food Referral Site

* Founding partner of "Garden of Giving" Community Garden

* Collaborate with UW-Extension on the operation of "The Teaching Garden.
