R Sushi

An absolutely delicious sushi restaurant! Woodbridge has needed a sushi place like this. Very fresh fish, torched sushi, a variety of dishes as well as great prices! Great for dine in or take out. I’ll definitely be back again. I highly recommend it! :

R you ready for this? A new entrant has entered the Vaughan food scene. It’s R Sushi bringing its eye-catching sushi flavours to this second location. Beyond presentation, I liked that flavours were on point: Deluxe Roll Combo: fresh salmon avocado, eel avocado, & crispy snowflake tempura rolls R Chirashi Don: beautifully layered w/ tuna, salmon, octopus, etc. on a bed of furikake rice Wagyu Uni Sushi: an umami bomb that melts in your mouth with clean flavours This new location seemed relatively quiet at lunchtime. Staff was quite courteous. Menu offerings range from affordable bentos to more unique sushi items above. Its top offerings are comparable to the popular sushi spot by Vaughan Mills. Even the sleek takeout box is similar! Menu is larger here at a variety of price points.

Very nice presentation and very tasty! New Mexico roll and North York sushi are delicious! And of course classic dynamite. Loved it so much, will definitely visit/order againFood: 5/5

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. We appreciate proportion and presentation when it comes to sushi, and R Sushi delivers them with flavour.

One of my top choices of sushi place to visit when in Vaughan area, their cooked food menu is surprisingly very good also, their chicken karage is the bomb =.

We got the platter today and it was so delicious. Rice wasn't dry, fish was fresh, they didn't over do it on the rice either. If I had to be picky about something which isn't a big deal.... They didn't put enough ginger for the platter lol But overall great place... Great food!

I ordered pick up for lunch. I had the torched sushi and rolls combo, and the cheese wonton. Very disappointed with the meal because I thought the reviews were really good. The rice for the roll was overcooked and very gummy. The cheese wonton was also not that good. No flavour in the cheese. If it had even just some onion or garlic powder, it would have been much better. I do appreciate the 30% off discount if you pay by cash, and the flavour of the sushi was ok.

A friend recommended this place not too long ago and we’ve been ordering 1-2 x a week! The sushi is soooooo good especially the torched! Love the flower presentation. That Oshi Salmon is to die for!

Very yummy foie gras eel packaging is like on another level with flowers and gold flakes thank you guys I’ll be back

New welcome sushi addition to the neighbourhood. Nice and fresh. Extra effort on the take out packaging is appreciated as well.
