Went for an early dinner on a Friday night, service was prompt and friendly. My partner got the fish and chips special and I got the curry yorkshire chicken if I am remembering that name correctly. The fish and chips were excellent, crispy and delicious, and the coleslaw and tartar sauce were also very good. The yorkshire pudding dish was good, loved the vegetables on the side but the curry was different to what I was expecting. Not bad, just felt much saltier and more peppery than what I’m used to with an Indian style curry, not quite as rich or thick. Overall very pleasant experience.
Pleasantly surprised with this place. Just happened upon them when looking to get some place new. Emily was so sweet. The food was very tasty and I liked that they had so many options for dinner. Will definitely go back.
Very disappointing first visit. I was very hungry last Friday evening. I wanted nothing else so I didn't to swim by. My hubby went in an ordered fish and chips for me. I was so excited because I haven't had fish and chips in years. Got home and was soooo disappointed. The pics speaks for themselves. The fish was beyond burnt. The fries were really good though. I was too hungry and tired to take it back so I took the lost. I won't make this mistake twice. The menu should be called crisp fish and chips.
Do not recommend for Sunday breakfast. We ordered take out, and the meal was not good at all. When I arrived to pick up there was someones THC vape pen being charged on the bar, and our order was wrong. Eggs were over cooked, sausages were deep fried and gross, bacon was soggy, toast had almost a stick of butter on them, hash browns were full of black pepper, no butter or syrup for the pancakes. Only good thing was it was hot when I got home, but we live 3 minutes away so it not really saying anything. We will not be going back! Plus it’s the same menu as 4 other restaurants in this town so there no point to give it another shot.
Picked up some takeout and the sweet potato fries were soggy and the portion was very small. I understand times are tough with but didn’t feel there was much value there. The waitress was friendly and efficient tho. Maybe just a bad day?
Came for dinner with my fiancée and we both loved it! BEST chicken fajitas in town! Very friendly staff, wine and food suggestions, as well as TVs in every direction which is perfect for watching the game! We will be back
As I eat my way through Bowmanville, we came here on an off evening. Ordered the salmon and seafood pasta. The seafood pasta had a little too much oil. I was really surprised. I made a comment to the server but said it was ok seeing as how I had devoured the plate. 10 minutes later, a brand new plate of pasta appeared! Not only did they freshly make one despite my protest, but they definitely customized this dish. Absolutely scrumptious and service to match. Thank you!
Asked for medium steak it was well done. The server asked it was good I Said no. She said well I didn't cook it. Terrible food and service. Never going back. Once was enough.
Great value for your money: the food is always fresh, the daily soups are homemade and very flavourful, the mussels are always plump and tasty and we always had a good meal whenever we go. Daily specials are also a great feature.Food: 4/5
Been here multiple time and the staff is friendly and I have never been disappointed at all with the food or service.Definitely one of my top places to eat at.
