We visited Queen Elizabeth Park in the autumn as well. It is surrounded by many tall trees and picnic areas. Many people were walking, jogging, biking and picnicking that day. I think it is quite beautiful for a city park.nnI was glad to see a lovely squirrel as we were about to leave. It was a pleasant surprise.
A beautiful area to visit and it doesn’t take a lot of time. The Queen Ann park in Edmonton is a great place to take a stroll and see breathtaking views as you gaze north towards the downtown area and the Saskatchewer River. I was there on October 7th and the leaf colors were beautiful. Good place to take a walk, run or ride your bike. There is a picnic area, and playground. Very clean! Inside Queen Ann Park in the upper area is an Indigenous Art Park with several sculptures.
One of my favourite areas in the city. Beautiful running paths with the most stunning views of the river valley, downtown & Walterdale bridge. Sit on top of the hill on a warm day, take some deep breaths & soak in the beauty.. you will be pleased
Good park near downtown. Lots of parking on both sides of the park. Beautiful trails.
Really big a beautiful park full of meaningful art.
