I visited Muttart Conservatory last year and had a great experience. The glass pyramids are beautiful, and each one offers something unique. It’s amazing to see tropical plants, desert cacti, and seasonal displays all in one place — things we don’t usually get to see in everyday life, especially in Canada.nThe atmosphere is peaceful and very well maintained. It’s a perfect spot for photos and videos, and also a nice place to relax and enjoy nature indoors. You can really appreciate the variety of plants from around the world.nDefinitely worth visiting if you’re in Edmonton!
We hosted our wedding at the Muttart Conservatory in December, and we were truly impressed. The ambiance is absolutely breathtaking — the glass pyramids filled with lush greenery created such a warm, intimate atmosphere, especially during the winter season. “Magical” is the word I’ve used over and over to describe our day. I loved being surrounded by beautiful plants while snow covered the outside — it felt like stepping into another world.nnThe feature pyramid was transformed into a Christmas-themed “Winter Wonderland,” and it was stunning. It added such a special and festive touch that made our celebration feel even more unique.nnThe staff were exceptional from start to finish. They were organized, professional, and genuinely kind, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free — even though we booked on short notice. You can truly tell they care about the events they host and take pride in the space.nnWe’re so grateful we had the opportunity to celebrate our special day there. Everything came together perfectly, and it’s a venue we will always speak highly of.nnThank you
The Edmonton Muttart Conservatory is a hidden gem that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in the heart of the city, it’s an ideal spot for anyone seeking a peaceful environment to sit and meditate.nnOne of the highlights of the conservatory is the **Temperate Zone Pyramid**, which I absolutely adore. It’s fascinating to witness how the flora evolves with the seasons. Each visit reveals a unique display of vibrant colors and textures, making it a refreshing experience every time. The dynamic nature of this space truly enhances the meditative atmosphere.nnEqually captivating is the **Exhibition Pyramid**. This area is always buzzing with new themes, which keeps every visit exciting and fresh. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing various exhibitions, from the enchanting **Mars** theme to the whimsical **Storybook** setup, and now the intriguing **Prehistoric** exhibit. The way the conservatory creatively integrates these themes with plant life is nothing short of impressive. It not only educates visitors about the plants but also sparks the imagination, inviting exploration and curiosity.nnOverall, the Muttart Conservatory is a beautifully curated space that seamlessly combines nature, education, and art. Whether you’re looking to meditate in the serene Temperate Zone or explore the ever-changing themes of the Exhibition Pyramid, you’re sure to find something that resonates with you. I highly recommend a visit for anyone looking to connect with nature in a peaceful setting.
Such a beautiful place!!! There are 4 pyramids with different plants in them! The pyramids themselves aren't huge, however there are a ton of plants in each!! I was a little sad there wasn't any butterflies however it was still worth the trip!! The parking is free, however you do have to register your plate when you go in. There are benches in the pyramids to sit and relax. There is also a cute coffee shop with tons of seating. They also have seating outside which is really nice also!!nnWould definitely go again :
Went there with my wife and young kids today. Haven't been in probably 15 years.nnI though if we could stretch an hour there it would be worth it,. But we ended up there for over 2 hours. The kids loved the scavenger hunt,.as well as the play area. Really cool seeing the koi fish,.as well as the terrarium with the frogs..cool place to spend an afternoon
