AMAZING gem in Edmonton! Wow - what a great experience. The City of Edmonton has really outdone themselves with the upkeep and maintenance. We were seamlessly able to book tickets online and when we arrived the folks at the concierge desk were already waiting for us. The conservatory has a cafe and central atrium in the centre off all pyramids.nnAll of the pyramids were meticulously taken care off. Not one detail was out of place! We were so happy to see all of the plants from around the world including our home country of - that was a surprise! Overall highly recommended!
Great place to visit with family. Well taken care areas and a huge variety of plants from all over the world. I love how the different areas are distributed in different climates. It has a cafeteria and a gift shop; also one can buy small and medium size plants! Definitely a visit worth repeating.
I adore coming here. The more I visit, the more I notice plants I missed before. I always bring my camera to take photos. My favourite pyramid is the Temperate. I enjoy finding a bench to sit on and relax. Lots of people visit, so it can be quite loud and packed with people especially on weekends and holidays. The feature pyramid is always changing themes and species of plants. In the past, my favourite feature was the Shakespeares Love. I like that the pyramids can be booked and reserved for special concerts and events, even weddings. I've seen events held out on their patio. The cafe is very cute and offers nice drinks and some food a bit pricey.
My favorite place to spend my birthday every year with my family. I am obsessed with the tropical pyramid and can never leave there without a meal from the cafe' or purchasing a whole bunch of plants. I highly recommend as a place to bring anyone of any age.
BEAUTIFUL destination in Edmonton, Alberta. Open year round so great place to get fresh air and appreciate greenery in the winter too! Love the new displays! Gift shop is amazing, and you can buy starter plants here as well. Well worth a visit.
