Quality Inn

I will never stay at this hotel again, the absolute worst customer service experience ever. When we pulled up and my 7 year old said this looks like a disaster I should have taken his word for it! When we first got our keys one didn't work and you have to turn the handle the opposite way to open the door because it is that run down. The rest of the stay seemed to go fine until we were packing up and getting ready when housekeeping knocked on the door at 10:30am and then proceeded to let herself in without me answering, I had to tell her to come back at 11am which is the correct checkout time. Shortly after I went to bring a few things to the car since I would have to make 2 trips and my card has already been deactivated, I had not gone to the front desk to checkout yet nor was it after 11am. Once I got home I realized I had left 2 brand new bottles of $20 shampoo and conditioner in the room. I was told I had to wait until the morning for housekeeping to check the room. No one else was checked into that room after my stay and when I got a call from the manager he stated nothing was "found". Well I imagine they were found by housekeeping but never returned. His answer was well I have to take their word for it. So I guess the customer isn't always right and he did absolutely nothing to compensate for my loss. I am not one to ever complain but this was completely unacceptable and by far my worst hotel experience.

We stayed overnight at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The furniture, decor, layout, and lighting were typical for a budget hotel. Good size indoor pool. Water puddling issue around the pool but probably acceptable with about 15 kids splashing around. In the room, the HVAC unit is mounted at floor level that the air was blowing directly toward the bed rapidly cooling or heating you before the room. This created and uncomfortable situation when trying to sleep. If i was to stay a second night i would make a barrier between the unit and the bed. Continental breakfast was good, but lack ample seating.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was so soft I could have spent the entire vacation there. The patio looked like it could have used some TLC but was a pleasant place to sit and have coffee in the morning, and was an unexpected but lovely amenity. Really the only complaint was the breakfast options are somewhat lacking, and we're pretty well picked over by the time we got there at about 8:30. While we didn't use the pool, it looked clean and the pool room was like a very pleasant sauna. All in all I would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

If I could give negative stars.. I would... labor day weekend.. I book a room, and drive all the way to this hotel from NYC... (4+ hour drive). We arrive at the hotel. Go to check in. In the reception the lady is literally sleeping at the counter, and there is a barefoot guy also sleeping on the couch in the reception area... whatever i thought.. we arrived at midnight, so it was late. The barefoot guy disturbed me a bit. So we wake up the receptionist and check in...unload the car, walk to the room, open the door... and find other people sleeping in the beds. The lady is checking the computer and blurts out that she has no idea who's in that room... And ... that there are no other rooms available either. Furthermore, she makes absolutely no effort to help us find another hotel either... so I'm suck at this hotel's lobby with the sleeping barefoot guy, calling hotels left and right at 12:30am on labor day weekend. No rooms to be found anywhere... ruined our weekend completely.

This is my go-to spot on Cape Cod as far as the hotel's go it's just across the bridge the staff is wonderful the rooms and the surroundings are nice too
