Quality Hotel Montreal East

Would give 4.5 stars if I could! Had a lovely stay here. Staff was super friendly. The rooms were fairly decent, albeit a BIT dated. The location is super convenient for getting on the highway, also pretty close to a lot of things to do. The price was quite reasonable for the F1 race weekend.

Nice, clean hotel. Room wasn’t an absurd price, and was also clean. Service was very great. The reception desk was nice and helpful. Soundproofing wasn’t that great, but people were generally quiet. Also, the fan in our room was very, very loud, which woke me up several times overnight.

I came here with my partner. Most everything was okay with our stay until we saw that there was a stain on the comforter resembling either blood or coffee. We called and let them know and requested a comforter and they told us that they couldn’t replace it, they gave us one of those fuzzy blankets which we couldn’t use due to allergies. It was such an odd experience - not having extra comforters and especially not having any type of responsibility for possible blood stains? They didn’t follow up, they didn’t apologize or do anything to mitigate the damages. Weird and terrible. Also every morning i’m not sure if it was other guests or workers but they would be talking and yelling so loudly for HOURS right outside our door.

I stayed here for work. The rooms were dated and not very clean. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and a bag of garbage was left for days. It seems there are problems with the plumbing because water does not drain well from the tub.nnI never saw housekeeping or any staff outside of the lobby during the 4 days I was there.nThere does not seem to be any security. When I checked in a staff member was having a loud argument with a customer on the phone anyone with proper training would have used a professional tone or at least gone to a private area. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone, but particularly for families or women traveling alone. I did not feel safe and it was not kept in a sanitary condition.

Overall a very positive experience. Having tried a number of different hotels that are close to my work location when in Montreal and this one is easily the best of the bunch.nnNice, clean rooms. Huge TV in the room. My only complaint with the rooms is the AC unit is very loud and the beds are hard and on the small side with only limited rooms with King and Queen sized beds available.nnParking was plentiful, there was a parking garage out back that always had plenty of space.
