Very much enjoyed this restaurant. Extremely friendly service with a nice ambiance and laid-back environment. Feels like a family restaurant. The food was very good, with an excellent selection of desserts. Will return.
Literally floored. We reserved for my friends 30th birthday party for 15 people. Their menu is badly explained and my friend made a mistake. She felt really bad because she cannot eat pasta and the owner was ripping her a new one as tho she was the dummest person on the planet for not knowing this was a pasta dish even tho it doesn't say so on the menu but apparently she should have known about this special kind of pasta and they wanted to charge her for her mistake even tho she couldn’t eat and didn’t touch the plate. Overall thanks for ruining the party. They also never offered us the desert menu, and didn’t apologize for the owner being so rude.
Delicious food & generous portions.. flavors were enhanced in very special way.. we loved how they serviced us & the atmosphere inside was perfect..
Very disappointed, we were a group of 15 for our friends 30th birthday, my friend made a mistake on the menu and asked nicely to change the dish. The owner was extremely rude and told her she should know better. Afterwards she sat at the bar drinking and loudly complained about us. Thanks for ruining my friends birthday Will not return
The initial customer service was great. We sat down and ordered a white wine. Now I ordered a salmon tartare, unfortunately there was to much vinegar. It took all the taste aways from the smoked salmon and other ingredients in the tartare. It was served with a cheap balamic vinegar that only tasted like vinegar, but the presentation was nice. Then I ordered a lobster, shrimp, scallop, pollock lasagna with a four cheese sauce. Where to start with this dish. The shrimp smelled old, I had no lobster pieces, the scallops where bay scallops which I only had three of, the pollock was canned, and to top it off they're was no four cheese sauce only a ton of cheese on top and even more garlic oil. It as if they were trying to hide the fact that the food wasn't fresh I know it will never be fresh due to the location but still could have been better. My girlfriend got a crispy pork belly. I know prok belly is fatty. For that reason the meat should be nice and tender and full of flavor. This wasn't the case, the food was dry, and lacked flavor. She was served two pieces of pork belly that weren't crispy. The first one was decent but the second one was pure fat. It was served with a jasmin rice which was oddly sweet and over powering, with vegetables on the side and they didn't look appetizing. Now I have to say the server did her job she didn't charge us for those two plates, and asked if we wanted anything else. I gave them a second chance and told her to pick what she would have. She gave me the Portuguese chicken. I gotta say the whole plate was bland. It had no taste. The chicken was so dry I needed water to eat it. So trying to forget that we ordered dessert. I got the molten cake and she got the beignets. My girlfriend told me something funny at first she said that the molten cake came from your typical grocery store IGA. I could not believe my eyes when she found a picture of the EXACT SAME motlen cake. It was a perfect match. As for the beignets. They were stuffed with caramel but tasted only of cooking salt. Never going again! 2/5 stars
I want to keep this very simple, I've been eating fish & chip in most of the pubs in the NCR rigion for over 40 years and I can definitely say with certainly that Le Quai make the BEST F&C by far........promise!
Food was not the best. Oil fir the fries needs changing. 1hour 45 minutes to get our food. Would not recommend at all
Greeting is not Always perfect but overall a nice spot with decent food selection at a reasonable price.
The waitress was kind but not well coordinated, that was the only good part. The food i got was awful, the fish was overcooked and had an "old" taste to it, the fries were really oily, limp and brown as if they had been cooked and recooked numerous times. I only took 2 bites i couldn't anymore, and they never came by to ask if the food was okay, only at the end did they ask if I wanted to take it home. I refused and she seemed frustrated that I said so. I still paid and tipped the waitress as it was not she who cooked it but I am greatly disappointed by the previous reviews and advise people not to go there.
Good food, great atmosphere. Staff energetic and very helpful. Parking: Easy parking access.
