Impromptu date at Soif - Bar à vin with my partner in crime. Beautiful evening to enjoy a glass of wine on the cozy patio. Great wine selection and recommendations goes without saying. Lovely discussion with Veronique Rivest sommelier on the different wines and vineyards we will soon discover.n•nTasty food with fresh seasonal ingredients. The sourdough was fresh and pillowy, fries were crispy and well seasoned, the zucchini salad was delightful and the lemon cake was the perfect way to end the meal. Dishes are carefully put together and well presented. Great service and extremely knowledgeable staff.

We went to Soif for a random Wednesday night dinner last week. I had never been before, and I can tell you I was absolutely blown away in every aspect. The interior design is funky and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting which is important. The staff was so pleasant and knowledgeable. We asked our server to surprise us with a 4 course meal and wine pairing. He nailed every single course. The food and presentation was incredible, and it was fun learning about the different wines he recommended. Easily top 5 dining experiences I have ever had.

The issue with this place isn't the restaurant. The owner is amazing, the staff are great, the food is delicious and unique, and the wines are guaranteed to impress. Though you'll pay a premium for their years of experience and global wine knowledgennThe remaining issue for me is the lack of parking. There's a few spots in front but other than that if you don't get lucky and get those, you'll need to park at other businesses ie the theatre if you're seeing a show there or walk.

Exceptional experience, exceptional service, exceptional food and wine! The restaurant itself is cosy and comfortable and the staff are super attentive and friendly. The pairings were so good! Each sip was a surprise and the Quebec wines were our favourites. We very much enjoyed the chats with the staff about their choices for us. Very much recommended.
