Yesterday Saturday January 11 2025 was the first time I’ve been to this hospital. I had bad cold symptoms that had been hanging on since December 25. I stayed home and tried to treat myself and then finally gave up. I realized I needed medical help. When I arrived there were about 15 people ahead of me. Most wearing masks but some not I waited patiently to be triaged. My turn came fairly quickly. I was surprised how fast I got in. The triage nurse was kind and friendly. From there it wasn’t long before I saw a Doctor. Lovely Dr Bigelow. Super nice and through. Went for an X-ray and found out I had pneumonia. Got a prescription and headed home. The whole experience was fabulous. I thank the staff and Doctors for all they did.
I went in after I’ve been puking blood and feeling very faint. The wait was a tad long, but I didn’t mind.nThe nurse that brought me to the room, she was wearing a pink shirt, was incredibly rude. She took my vitals and asked my pain, I told her a 10 as my meds haven’t kicked in, she then replied with “if I hit your stomach, will it make it worse?” I felt as if that was a bit of an inappropriate response.nnAfter that, Dr Dawson came in and spoke with me, I would love to thank him from the bottom of my heart, for actually listening to me and understanding I am in a deep amount of pain. He took me seriously, nd even took the time to look at my scans from a previous hospital, as they wouldn’t give me the time of day.nI then had a new nurse come in, she was very sweet, I wish I got her name. She was so kind and patient with me.nThank you to those 2 who made my night after being in so much pain.
I went in for a minor procedure, everyone was pleasent and helpful. The doctor, Ademidun, was very nice and kept checking on me to see if I was ok and explained every step of the way. I have been waiting a long time for this small procedure, from Kingston and was very happy and thankful that I was able to get in. Thank you to the kind staff and nurses as well!!
We had to visit the emergency room for a sick child under 10 years old. The staff was super nice. He was x-rayed and seen by a doctor within 1.5 hrs. Fastest trip to the ER especially on a long weekend.
Went to the ER 3 times for chest and back pain. Finally, on the third visit this great doctor ordered a cat scan and found out I had a tumour in my chest. I am thankful to this great lady doctor who took my pain seriously and found my tumour. The nurses are awesome there but I am very disappointed that in my previous two visits, the doctors didn’t seem to take my pain seriously and didn’t order a cat scan. I will forever be grateful for the doctor who found my tumour, but the others just seemed like they were pushing me out the door.
