When on lookout for Indian food at Montreal, this place is perfect. We had an difficult time as Indian flavours are hard to locate in Montreal. Check for closing time. Roam in Montreal and dine here. Both food and service are excellent. Be prepared for some wait time as worth for the food quality you receive. Enjoy
I want to start by saying the food was amazing overall. The only reason this restaurant loses a star is because when we arrived around 8:45pm on a Saturday night, there was a huge line of mostly groups and we were told, with one couple ahead of us, that it would be 5-7 mins. This turned out to be a solid 30 mins of poorly managed table turnover. Before being seated, we were warned the kitchen closes at 9:30pm so told to look at menus and prepare our orders. We ordered promptly when seated and received our samosas within 5 mins. However we then waited over ONE hour to get the rest of our food! Having only 25 mins to eat and then them flicking the lights on and off at 11pm was a bit of a turn off but the couple next to us claimed this was a one-off and we should try again in the future because usually it’s quick and good service. All that said, we didn’t love the paneer saag but that’s a preference thing. Everything else was absolutely delicious! And well-priced.
The food is very good, the no Spicy butter chicken is spicy, be careful when you order
Food was excellent. Host was super friendly and nice. Will visit when i am in canada again.
Awesome food. So tasty and not pricy at all. Service suck a little tho lol.
Used to be a go to place for us on every weekend. Few things started disappointing. Naan breads are thick even after instructions before dining, they still come out as thick.. looks like they use a machine to roll naan bread .. food served is cold.
I went yesterday after the food arrived. We ate a little and then we found insects inside the rice Worst restaurant I've ever seen I have the videos and everything
Been going to this place for years now and they keep me coming back. Put simply, excellent Indian food, plenty of options, and good prices. Recently tried the chicken korma plate and I couldn't get enough of it. I'd suggest takeout however - their dining area is quite old and needs a little facelift. Also it's, I don't wanna say dirty, but...not super clean? Anyhow, takeout it is. Will be back for more shortly!
Loved their Paneer Tikka and Kadhai Paneer. Flavorful dishes!Food: 4/5
The food is good. I went there for few times . Every time I had something it gave me bad stomach ache and today also I have been throwing up since morning. I ordered mild food and they gave me spicy one. It doesn’t taste hot but they put a lot of spices even in a daal. Will not recommend if you have sensitive metabolism. This was the last time I went there.
