Puffins, a division, of Seabird Enterprises, is a vocational training site for people with developmental disabilities. Our restaurant and bakery offer food and baked goods in French, Italian, Greek, Asian, and American Cuisines. Whether it breakfast or lunch, Puffins is the destination for waterfront dining in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

Puffins is a restaurant located on the Groton side of the Thames river. It is on Thames Street and has a million dollar view. They are open for breakfast and lunch Monday - Saturday. The wait staff are people with special needs and they are a delight! Puffins has their own bakery so their sandwiches are all made with fresh bread. The sandwiches are wonderful, plentiful and extremely well priced! There's an outdoor deck for those sunny days. Go once, and you'll be sure to make it a regular stop!

Wonderful people there. Great service! Plan to go once a wk while we're here for summer bc my kids keep saying, "can we go to Puffins?" baked goods are amazing as well.

if I could give half stars I would.(3.5) Decent food, the only complaint about the food was honestly the syrup was super watered down. very quiet little place. definitely has it's business centered on older people and only one real employee. more or less just felt out of place the whole time, if it wasn't for that and the place doesn't seem set up to be restaurant I would have rated it higher.
