Monica's State Street Diner

I have been having breakfast here once a week for about 2 months. The wait staff have always been friendly and professional. It seems as though a lot of the customers know each other and I think it is probably because of the price, quality and the portions of the food. If you want a " heart attack " plate, I highly recommend the omelet stuffed with corned beef hash AND cream cheese ( I KNOW !! ) with super yummy hash browns. Lately I've been ordering the omelet with tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese and sauteed vegetables on the side. The owner also cooks there and when she is not, the gentleman that is in the kitchen does an excellent job. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Love coming here! Friendly service! They let me sit and relax to enjoy a nice meal. Makes me feel like the kind of place my grandfather used to stop in when he was a truck at the diners.

The food is above par, service is excellent, and price is decent, only issue I have with the place is the cook in the back doesn't wear gloves and has open sores all over her hands and arms. She brought out my food one time and I dry heaved. I understand people have physical issues, but please cover them up if you are serving or cooking food.
