Fatboy’s is the hidden treasure that brings fine dining to New London at reasonable prices. Just from stepping into the establishment, you’re transported to a handsome, cozy bar and dining area, with a sophisticated, rustic feel. The menu boasts seasonal specials and fan favorites, as well as a cheese board described as ‘just trust us’ and the offer to ‘buy the kitchen a round’ - which you’ll want to after having tasted the food! Everything is packed with flavor and the helpings are plentiful. There is also an extensive drinks list including inspired seasonal cocktails. The service here is attentive, fun, and thoughtful, and the overall experience has been a delight every time. I found Fatboy’s through Restaurant Week and now it’s my favorite restaurant in all of New London! Bonus: Check out the murals and galleries scattered throughout New London’s downtown while you’re in the area

My daughter and I stopped in for dessert and drinks. Yummy banana bread pudding! Waiter was terrific. Very nice and quick service. Fun place!

Why did I wait so long to try this wonderful new restaurant. A fantastic , big bowl of butternut squash soup, very thick started things off for this soup lover, followed by a perfectly cooked pork chop. We shared a buffalo chicken roll appetizer, also top notch. We'll definitely be back!

Every time I come here the food is bananas. Finally tried their burger and was blown away. Definitely one of the best in town if not the best. And yeah I know the Social is next door. It Fatboy’s is still better

We came here first for restaurant week and either loved or hated the food depending on the dish. The Buffalo chicken crisps are delicious. Also the Bacon Mac n cheese and the pork dish for dinner. The polenta bites had almost no flavor and were a strange texture. The beignet's were doughy and not like the traditional version. Still good though. There was some sort of pie that tasted like pure sugar. Way overpowering. Our waiter was a guy and he was acting way more busy than he actually was. (Side note, he also called me honey which I hate.) The second time I came back for the Buffalo chicken crisps and the lady waiting on us behind the bar took no less than 10 minutes to say even one word to us and seemed clueless. She had zero ability to multi task. There was one table and two people at the bar yet she was running around clearly stressed and making the wrong choice about what was more important constantly. This isn't the job for her. Maybe I'll get the Buffalo chicken crisps to go next time.
