Attended a volleyball tournament here and had a great time. The bar had good prices for food and drink but could use some maintenance. They have two sand courts but it down poured quite a lot and the courts are concave and held a lot of water. We had to spend a lot of time to make them playable. It could use a couple more loads of sand to prevent this from happening again.
A local favorite! Love the wings, drinks, and friendly servers. They host a volleyball league every summer and fall which is very popular.
The bartenders always have the best customer service, the wings are fire and they have free pool The pub is definitely the kind of bar that will treat you like family.

We came to Chicago for a medical procedure for my wife and stayed at the Hampton nearby. After driving from Cincinnati around 10pm I needed a beer and expected to be directed to a TGIFridays or something but got pointed here. We pulled up and immediately thought we made a mistake because it's in the basement of an American Legion hall but everything else was closed so we pressed on. We reluctantly walked in and were immediately welcomed and treated like old friends. Alec, Jen, Scott, and Lauren invited us into their game of 4-5-6 and conversation. We felt like outsiders for about 3 minutes, then we were part of the club. Other places were suggested but we found our people so there was no need to look anywhere else :- Great local place with great local people.
Wings were large and delicious. Service was friendly, it was very busy because of the Turkey shoot and the Bears game.
Don’t play any leagues their the bar take a bunch of the winnings for the bar. That bar would be dead if they didn’t have leagues. We played bags league and they took $180 out of the pot.
Food is actually really good. Wings!
I’ve rated once before but could not see my comment. Hannah and Michelle are incredible. The wings are to die for and the prices are cheap for amazing drinks and food. My parents as well as myself love this bar. It is PHENOMENAL. Favorite bar in town no doubt
My mom recently passed away and this was her favorite bar. I reached out on a limb to see if we could have a celebration in her honor there after her services and the owner/manager responded immediately. Even though this week has been incredibly difficult, I can’t say enough about their kindness and hospitality. We had many friends and family compliment how BIG and flavorful the wings were dry rub and the Teriyaki were my favorite!. Same goes for the burgers. Kitchen did a great job keeping up with orders! We also brought in about 100 people and the bartender was fantastic; smiling, fast, friendly. I recommend this bar not only for their big hearts but also for their great food and staff! I can see why my mom LOVED this spot.
