Most of the staff are nice. But the biggest issue is communication. The team members of nurses, physicians, administration, and PSWs do not communicate properly with each other or follow up on patient appointments. For example, to make sure a senior patient is going to his or her booked medical appointment, you have to call a nurse then confirm with a staff member or a PSW, then you would call again to make sure the patient is downstairs to get to his or her acccess bus. With all these hurdles, most of the time, they do not answer phones. One of my close family members living there missed so many booked medical appointments for this miscommunication issue. One other scary concern is that I had to argue with a medical resident physician under training to arrange an x ray or send a family member who broke a leg to ER. In that place, you have to keep your eyes open for the sake of your loved one.
Excellent care and friendly staff thank you to all the staff from Sydenham3 for their excellent care to our father during his time there.
I encountered a very disrespectful, rude staff member who also had zero compassion!!
