Pro-Tech Electroménagers

My landlady had them deliver a refrigerator to my apartment, and pick up my old one. Mind you, I was happy to get a second-hand fridge, as I am all for saving the planet. :) I've had several used appliances in the past (always dealt with Elvis before), and never have I had any issues with prev. owned fridges.... until today. First off, the friendly delivery guys made several scratches on my hardwood floors. They were dragging the fridges around as if I lived in a warehouse! Then, I had to provide pliers for them to dismount the fridge door, so that they could fit through my kitchen door frame (or maybe they were too lazy to go back to their truck and get theirs?!). The refrigerator door was re-mounted on the 'wrong' side for my kitchen display (meaning that I had to take it down after they left, so that the door would open from the other side), which goes to show just about how much these guys do not care to offer you a good service whatsoever. The fridge that they left me with had maggots in the freezer. I had to dismount the back panel inside the freezer, because it obviously hadn't been washed (or compressor-blown, at least) since they got this appliance from its' previous owners. It was filled with (more) maggots, dead bugs and nasty-stinking brown goo. The fan hadn't been cleaned either. The frames of the glass shelves were crammed with nasty stuff that smelled strongly of trash (probably from old meat juices.... YUK!). A couple hours after cleaning the whole thing with bleach, and the fridge still smells somewhat fairly funky. And the price tag on this lovely situation? A sticker on the refrigerator indicates 375.00$!! WOW!! I cannot believe that they can fool people like that! This store is located in a HOOD already, and I feel truly sorry for the folks living in the area who have no choice but to deal with these guys. Hopefully I won't have to deal with them in the future. I have notified my landlady as well... I truly wish that they lost her as a client, as of today. *EDIT: a week later, turns out the fridge that they brought me does not work either!
