Story

Mechanicland Studios was founded in 2006 by its owner Eliot Mechanic, focusing primarily as a production and publishing house in the Montreal North district. In 2011 the studio officially opened its doors as a commercial recording studio and started offering its services to the public. Set in a historic church, Mechanicland offers musicians and engineers an opportunity to work in a live room with exceptional acoustics, striking architectural features, and natural light. The studio prides itself with its unique and wide collection of vintage gear, used on countless hit records by some of the top artists and engineers in the field.
