Smashing IT!nnTake a step into the world of mystery and magic. Let your senses take a ride and let your heat bet that extra step.nnThat's the magic of theatre folks.nnThis is such a lovely place to enjoy great theatre or a movie during TIFF.nnAnd it really doesn't matter where you sit in the theatre. It's built to ensure that you have a perfect view of the stage/screen from any seat.nnIf you're really adventurous and don't mind the height, I'd suggest getting balcony steats!nnThere is definitely an unexplained magic that you feel and experience the moment you walk into the Princess of Wales Theatre.nnSo buy a ticket and be prepared to have your breath taken away.
Amazing theatre. Seen a bunch of shows here. Seats are tight and close together, especially for a bit of a plus size person but it’s not unbearable. Just slightly uncomfortable but the shows more than make up for it. Recently used on site parking and it seemed reasonable $20. They have attendants that help with traffic on road and sidewalk which was very helpful. Staff have always been pleasant and helpful.
Place is dated and old, but well kept. Acoustics are amazing, and as the lights dim, you soon forget that your seats are a bit tight and short on leg room; all you care about is the beautiful sound and the great lighting. I saw Les Mis and Wicked, both outstanding. Parking sucks getting out.
Took my daughter to shrek the musical. Very beautiful theatre. The seats were comfortable and had good leg room for people who were taller. Good ambiance, and we loved the ceiling. Would watch another play in this theatre.
Wicked at the Princess of Wales theatre was fantastic! I have been trying to go for years, and finally found the time. Great music, talented cast, fun story, and beautiful venue. Could just do without the abysmal traffic getting there!!
