I went to see the Lion King, which I absolutely loved the performance. Hilarious & creative it was nothing but magical being a huge fan of the lion king. The performance was 100% a 5/5 from me. I felt chills in my body most of the time. The only reason I give it a 4/5 overall is that I feel like for the price of a ticket there should be ... More from the theatre? Comfier seats? Somewhere to sit while you wait for doors to open ? Decently priced drinks and merchandise? I was also blown away when I was asked if I wanted to purchase a bag... A glorified memorabilia reusable bag for $20... But I still recommend going to see the performance
Went to go see Lion King. It was spectacular! I took my 14 yr old daughter, and if you know anything about teenagers, they hate everything. Well, I'm pleased to say that even SHE loved it. Her favorite part was the elephant.nThe theater seats are quite tight, so if you have a robust gyat, you may be a bit uncomfortable.nOur seats were in the orchestra section, last seats to the left, and although we were not in the center of the theater, we did not miss any of the show, the view was still great.nDuring intermission, you could get refreshments and snacks, including pop, water, alcohol, popcorn, or even an ice cream bar.nThis theater is large enough to be fancy but small enough to feel intimate.nI look forward to my next show!
We saw the Lion King here which was a showstopping production. The theater and restrooms are overall well-kept, however, the seating is extremely tight as others have mentioned. Once you're seated, you can barely adjust your posture as there is no room to do so. Because of this, sitting through a 2.5 hour show was quite uncomfortable. If you are over 160cm, I would recommend that you pay a little more to sit in an area closer to the front where there may be more leg room.
I went to see The Lion King, and if you ever have such an opportunity, I recommend it highly. It was my first time seeing a professionally done musical, and I was thrilled. Also, the sinks in the bathrooms were pretty cool.
Place is dated and old, but well kept. Acoustics are amazing, and as the lights dim, you soon forget that your seats are a bit tight and short on leg room; all you care about is the beautiful sound and the great lighting. I saw Les Mis and Wicked, both outstanding. Parking sucks getting out.
