The Candlelight Concerts are such a joy to attend. We’ve seen the “Tribute to ABBA” performance twice and both times it’s been absolutely stunning! The aesthetic's are amazing, the talent of the musicians is inspiring and it’s a beautiful opportunity to witness these concerts that I’m glad I didn’t miss.
Paradise Theatre on Bloor Street is a fantastic venue for film lovers! I recently attended the screening of 'Have a Good Day' and 'Sour Party' and was thoroughly impressed. The theatre itself is beautifully restored, blending vintage charm with modern comfort. The sound and picture quality were top-notch, making for an immersive viewing experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. Whether you're a movie buff or just looking for a great night out, Paradise Theatre is definitely worth a visit!
I recently attended the Candlelight Jazz concert at the Paradise Theater, and it was an unforgettable experience. Joanna Majoko’s voice was a warm, velvety delight, perfectly complemented by the exceptional band. The Paradise Theater itself was both welcoming and beautiful, and the candlelit ambiance added a magical touch to the evening. If you have the chance to see Joanna live, don’t miss it—her performance, combined with the stunning venue, creates a truly enchanting experience!
Went to see a candlelight concert in March with my daughter. We saw a Mitski performance. My daughter is a huge Mitski fan, whereas I am a little indifferent. However, her music translated to a string quartet beautifully. The performers themselves were very engaging and entertaining. I will definitely see another Candlelight Concert. I would actually love to bring my husband to experience it. This is a perfect date night or family outing. The venue itself was so fabulous! It has been restored to, perhaps not its original, but an Art Deco glory. The bar in the lobby is just stunning. The facade and marquis is also restored and fabulous.
I went to Paradise theatre for Candle light concert and it was a magical evening. The theatre was well maintained with great seatings. The staffs were extremely helpful and friendly. The performance was nothing short of exquisite with the candles adorning the theatre. It indeed made a great date night for both me and my partner. Photography and videography are prohibited during the performance but we were allowed to shoot a video during their last and final performance for the evening. They do have a bar with alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. All in all, a very grand experience!
