I really like this cinema. It’s great to have a small local theater in the neighborhood where you can watch interesting films — not always the newest releases, but thoughtfully selected movies that you usually wouldn’t see in larger chains.nnWe recently watched the 2019 film Tito, and afterward there was a panel discussion with the director and one of the actors, which made the experience even more special.nnThe atmosphere is cozy and charming, with the feel of an old-school cinema. I really appreciate that they’ve kept the spirit and character of classic movie theaters alive.
An absolutely great experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere. The host was engaging and entertaining, setting the tone perfectly for the night. The music was incredible. Truly rich, soulful, and beautifully performed.nIt truly felt like a special Christmas experience.
Came here with a few friends earlier this week and the vintage neon marquee out front already had us excited before we even stepped inside. The balcony seats have incredible sightlines and the whole room has this warm, old-school cinema energy that the big chain multiplexes just can't replicate. As a group of people who take their snacks seriously, we were genuinely impressed by the concession stand, especially the butter chicken popcorn which we finished long before the opening credits. We are absolutely coming back for whatever they screen next.
Went here for the first time last night to catch a screening of Bring It On. It’s a charming theatre and the lobby was nice and had a retro vibe to it. That changes when you walk into the theatre. I know I’m nitpicking but it’s a little “too modern” for my personal liking. The seats also have the absolute worst cup holders I’ve ever seen which isn’t even something I’d normally pay attention to but they were that bad. Overall nice little theatre that had great programming but if you’re looking for an old school vintage feel, you’ll only get that in the lobby.
