This is really great soup! And it would have to be if they have soup in their name : I couldn’t decide what soup I wanted so the staff offered a taster of each which was really nice! The sandwich was amazing too. Such soft and fresh bread. This will be a lunchtime staple from now on. Customer for life.

A great cafe on Richmond Road. They serve a variety of homemade soups and entrees along with baked goods. All items made in-house. I’ve enjoyed soups, sandwiches and desserts here, always good. They also have their soups available in frozen take-out format. Also good coffee. The staff is friendly and service is great.

Love local coffee shops!! Always 100% better than chains. Friendly service great mocha and a Russian Reuben sandwich. Vegetarian options: Soup or sandwich

Primal Grounds is more than just a great place for soups, coffee and food. There's a positive vibe in here. Went there for an important professional meeting and found the place to be very conducive. The staff are personable and attention to simple aspects of service is excellent. Overall, much more than 5 stars - more power to the Primal Grounds team!

This is one of my favorite local soup and sandwich shops in Calgary! Any of their curry soups are absolutely delicious. Can never go wrong! My favorite sandwich is the Roasted Chicken n Brie. Soooooo delicious!Food: 5/5

The best place in Calgary for healthy, yummy homemade soups and sandwiches. The staff are all so friendly. Family owned and operated business. Lots of vegetarian options for soup and sandwiches. Love this spot

Walked in not one staff member greeted me two walked by. I asked if I could seat myself and was told yes, did that. Maybe 5 minutes go by and a server doesn’t come by, staff walk by and don’t say a word. I went up to the counter and again ignored for at least 2 minutes. Finally ordered what I wanted, sat back down. The order came out with no napkins I thought ok they are busy I’ll just take the napkin that was under the soup. As far as I can see you are a cafe order at the counter and get the food or drinks to the table. But I also saw servers taking orders at the tables. So the fact that I sat there for 5mins without given a welcome or a menu leaves me confused. Are you a QSR or a full service restaurant. Let me know because my experience today was terrible.

$9 for Soup come on! And not even hot - barely warm and not tasty either - truly not worth the money for the serving size. Their cup size is like 5oz max so I ordered a bowl - big mistake
