I love this cafe, the atmosphere was really nice. The place is pretty small, but the decor and vibe made everything really great. The server was really friendly and service was fast. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved that they had various versions of fries and it was sooo yummy. The beef cheek brisket was the perfect texture and flavour, I would definitely come back again. The only downside was that they were running out of ingredients by the time that we went and ran out of dessert as well. But that’s understandable and I’ll try to get the things that I missed next time.
What a cute little place!! First thing I thought when I walked in was how cute the restaurant was. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. We tried their April special, the “cherry blossom tree.” All the food we had was really amazing, and not too expensive. Our server was so sweet and such a delight to have. Would absolutely recommend this place.
First time trying and it was amazing. The chef was very accommodating for our friends who were vegan and made some adjustments for them. Everything tasted very good and our server was friendly. Would love to come back again!
I've been a long time follower on Instagram, but a first time visitor in person, and I wasn't disappointed. I had the cereal milk french toast - cooked perfectly, the bananas were the star, great presentation. My partner had the crispy chicken sandwich with what may be the best fries I've ever had. The service was lovely, the space is gorgeous, and I was very pleased. They've only got 7 tables inside, so make sure you call ahead to get on the wait list!
It was our first time dining here and we will be back for sure. Our server Danielle was amazingly kind and super helpful she gave wonderful recommendations and the food was delicious I would recommend this place to anyone. Also the plant wall is so cute, a very nice touch my husband loved all the plants. Kid-friendliness: They were so kind to my daughter, brought her out crayons and paper and a little cup
Had brunch here, and this cute little cafe did not disappoint! The quality of the food was amazing, absolutely delicious! Staff were super friendly & welcoming. Will definitely be back !
I finally got the chance to have a Café Mocha here. I have gone by many times but never gone in until now. It is quite a refreshingly clean and bright Cafe. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 7pm on Sunday, an hour before closing. I have found other cafés that are about an hour away from closing to be much less friendly as the staff usually starts warning you about their impending closing as if it is a Countdown to an ominous disaster. NOT HERE! We got a "last call" at around 7:45pm. At 8pm the staff were busy cleaning and didn't mind that we took an extra 15 minutes to wrap up our coffees and conversation. They made us feel truly welcome. I didn't get a chance to eat anything this time, but I am looking forward to coming back and enjoying the espresso and something to eat too. Sammie's is a great locally owned Cafe with a cute interior and large patio too. I am not sure why it took me so long to stop by the 1st time, but it certainly won't be so long until the next time.
Nice place with a small patio. We want there for brunch and really liked the food and drinks. The server was also very friendly. The only downside was that the food came very late and service was slow. The japa fries was also delicious.
I have already heard good things about this cafe before I came in, but all the recommendations are absolutely right! The place is so well decorated and cute, the service is perfect and this could easily be YYC's best brunch place! We ordered the Mushroom Avocado Bennie, Pork Mojito Bennie, Sweet Potato Fritters and a london fog and cappucino! They were all so delicious! I especially love the mushroom one the pork one is unmatched as well. I believe any plate chosen will be amazing. I'm so excited to come back and try more! Another positive is that the parking is so convenient. There is a wide parking lot right behind the cafe, it's so accessible compared to difficult street parking. The community/area around it is very nice too, so after eating, you can explore around! It won't be boring. Lots of cute locations! Because the restaurant is on the smaller side, a good idea would be to call in advance and see if they're available.
Truffled Mushroom Avocados Bennies and Fried Chicken & Waffles Bennie is so delicious! Very beautiful breakfast place with such a nice atmosphere. They have plants all over and also you get to purchase some if you want to. Their coffee is amazing, thank you so much for refilling my cup in a timely manner! Will be definitely spreading a word about this location.
