John (Giovanni) came from a traditional Italian family growing up surrounded by relatives and lots of home made food. His focus on food started at a very young age with his mother, father, brother and sisters all working at their family restaurants, pizzerias and bakeries. Under their guidance he was inspired to open Prima Pizzeria in 1985 and Mario's Restaurant in 1998 with his wife Katrina. They continue to use the same family recipes that have been passed down from four generations.
Excellent things continue to happen at Prima Pizza. They accept the challenges and strive to continue to be a vital option to serving reasonably priced, high quality food.
