This has the best coffee on the Danforth. Press definitely has the best coffee I have tasted in Canada. They also make it very well and have all the milk varieties you need. I always get an oat milk latte and it is absolutely amazing ! It is fairly priced and also, I can bring my dogs in every time. The owner and the staff are always friendly and amazing. I wished they opened earlier so I could go more, but if they did, I would spend more money! Ha!
Great new place to buy records in the T Dot. Spacious, good mix of new and vintage. Owner was friendly and super helpful. As of this writing, there was a good selection of Vinyl Me Please copies, all, IMHO, reasonably priced at $100-ish. Think about this: he's done the hard work of ordering these, paying duty, and opening up the cartons. You don't have to deal with those things, plus you can inspect them on the spot, rather than be surprised by dinged corners. And between the exchange rate and shipping costs, I'd say that you're getting a deal.
Unpretentious superb shop that knows how to do it up! And coffee too so that you can browse and you can sip and you can pick through vintage and repressings. You will get recommendations and advice. You can bring your vinyl in. Really is a great shop. Just stop in for a coffee and to listen to some good music if you ain’t buying for your personal collection. But vinyl makes a great gift! Even albums that nobody wants can be Great Wall art! So don’t just pass by!
Came here for the first time today. Honestly such a cool place with a great vibe! Very clean with an amazing record collection. The prices are terrific. Everything is so organised and well kept. I highly recomend checking it out.
Came in here on a whim, left a huge fan. Staff owner? was a lovely hang, genuinely funny, made great coffee. Great place to spend a Saturday morning.
Amazing Sound of Music, the owner is knowledgeable and friendly, a great place to check out by yourself or with family and friends.
What a terrific store! I am a casual record buyer and went in for a coffee - I was surprised how great the coffee was! And the selection here is really excellent. Nice mix of old and new vinyl, and the prices were really very reasonable. The basement features a lot of boxes of used records and is not nearly as well organized, but there are some gems if you don't mind looking. I will have to go back a few more times to go through it all! Great store, very friendly staff, and I am very happy to have found it - I will be back!
What a special place! Amazing finds, fairly priced, great coffee, and the owner was so lovely to talk to.
I love their coffee! It's a nice cosy place to hang out for a bit and I personally love how they sell Beast York merch. I can see easily spending hours and hours here with all the books to browse and buy. It's so great to have places like this for us in the east end.
Hands down the best record store I've visited in the City! Picked up a couple albums that I couldn't find anywhere else. The staff dog included are friendly and knowledgeable. I also loved the tags on each album that tell you a fun fact or joke about the artist.
