Story

Teresa Bartel holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. She excels at finding innovative solutions and will work hard to meet her client’s needs.

Teresa is looking forward to making her extensive experience available to her clients as the new owner of Precision Accounting.

Teresa served her community through her Rotary Club membership, her involvement in the establishment of the BC Living Arts Club. Teresa enjoys traveling and attending her book club and the Silver Star Rotary Club.

Teresa is an experienced professional who has worked in the finance and accounting field for over 25 years. During that time she gained extensive accounting, office management and operations experience with a focus of providing timely, accurate financial information for management decision making.

After obtaining her professional designation, Teresa worked for the well-respected accounting firm KPMG, before accepting a position with a global manufacturing company, Pollard Banknote in Kamloops. There she led a diverse team of employees responsible for recording compiling, analyzing and discussing financial information with management of operations in Canada, the US and Puerto Rico.

Teresa was a significant contributor in taking the company public. When Pollard consolidated operations in Winnipeg, Teresa decided to strike out on her own and successfully completed a number of contracts with companies in the wood fiber, mining equipment and retirement home industries.
