Prairie Island Campground

We 'camp' here in the summer of 2017 while our kids swim Winona 's Regional Swim Final. Our camp site faced the water. Great view. Excellent location to fish and/or park your boat. Considering we have a water front lot, I was extremely surprised how much room we got. We camped next to our friends and we could easily park another camper between us. The only draw back to the site is no sewer hook up (they do have drain station). Water pressure was okay at best because they split lines to share. Not bad value and great location to the river. Note: there is a train tracks cuts through the city and you can hear it.

I love this Campground! Beautiful river front camping lots of activities for the kids ,staff are always super friendly and the prices are not ridiculously high for all they have goin on their I would recommend Prarie Island to any body looking for some great river camping.

Bathrooms should be cleaned better but did like being right next to the river and being able to just walk to the beach or park. Loved that it was right across the street from the deer Park.

We love the this place for camping and fishing. Plus they have a park.

Very pleasant campground, water at every site, electricity but no showers, have to heat up the water in the camper.
