Friendly and affordable!! Family of four including 2 child looking for snowboard equipment. We actually arrived an hour before the shop close but the staff Ben is very helpful ,as we worry we don’t have enough time to complete the rental. Everyone need to measure their high ,weight and shoes sizes to find the right board and boots.Do suggest come earlier to do so because it takes time. Great experience!Sorry to cause you guys like 20min late from closing. Absolutely recommended ,specially beginner and families .
Damnnnn - im impressed at the service here. The girl was so knowledgeable about beginner vs advanced Nordic skis and showed me how to measure all the right sizes. They weigh you to make sure it’s the correct ski size. There’s also someone here to check your merchandise before you leave to make sure it’s good. Normally they don’t sell second hand stuff but I was able to get pre-owned Nordic ski boots that someone owned for a small discount. They have a rent to own program also, where the first year you pay 70% and then the next year to own you pay the remaining 30%. Got my Nordic ski set for around 400$ total. Love it. They also sell mitts and jackets etc
Poubelle Du Ski Delivery service is the best! Sent in my child's measurements, booked a delivery time, the guys arrived with his kit, did a fit check with him and took his equipment from last year back to the store. It was quick, the new kit is beautiful, great quality and everything fits perfectly. The delivery guys were polite and super helpful. Didn't have to take half a day off work or pull my son out of school. Arranged the delivery on a PED day and didn't have to leave the house. Totally worth the $35 fee.
Staff was awesome. Had me fully equipped with some great stuff for much cheaper than I expected. They know their stuff and they're here to help. Would've wished bindings install was included when spending a certain amount but I'll survive and enjoy this season should snow happen to show up. Thanks again :
I went to look at cross country skiis and was disappointed. In the past the store was always a bit disorganized but this was fine because the staff was knowledgeable and the prices were good. This year I noticed a change. Same lack of organization but now the staff has no clue about what they are selling so they had to call the manager who was rude and she seemed to be bothered to be dealing with a client. Pricing was not great either. I left and purchased skiis in another store. Don't think I will return.
We have always used Poubelle du Ski to rent our skis but this year we used their delivery service. It was so quick, communication was excellent, prices are great and overall it was such a wonderful experience! Highly recommend.
I had the worst time shopping at la Poubelle. Employees were super stressful and not welcoming. Items were over-priced. Customer service at the cashier could not accomodate me decently for a minor price ticket error. Dont go, it's garbage.
Don't be scared, the place is trashy but they have a nice selection of items, however they lack customer service. I just went today and I was treated as if I was bothering them. The tall guy with straight hair and glasses that looked for my skis rolled his eyes every time I had a question I am a beginner and this is my first winter ever and the curly dark haired girl at the cashier was very rude to me. Only one person was kind and it was a dark skinned lady that was next to the cashier girl and she was always smiling and very polite. They really need to train their staff that even if they may not be friendly with clients, at the minimum they should be polite.
Just went to get myself my first snowboard and boots. Everything went very smoothly with the help of the store workers. They are very knowledgeable and will try to give you the best for the quality and price! Really recommend this place!!
Really busy at all times! But huge variety of products for skiing, cross country skiing snd skating! Prices are fair, not as cheap as you’d expect but all good brands are available! Staff can be rude at some point but that is alright! Otherwise, I recommend that store
