Disappointed on their craftsmanship. After 1 year in our new home, after undergoing inspection and consultation. We reported that our baseboards and trims all cracked after the winter season. We have a new two-storey home with Patten Homes and they were very nice enough to help us because Potvin said they would not repair it. I’ve purchased a new townhome before and never had this issue with baseboards and trims for years. Something to keep in mind to ask from builders next time you are looking, and you find out Potvin is behind their Baseboards and Trims, look another way. If you don’t want to be the one fixing this for the rest of your life.

Potvin was brought in to install cabinets in my new home by my builder, and what should have been a straightforward job has turned into a nearly six-month nightmare that is still not resolved.nnThe installation was supposed to be completed in November. They showed up but forgot a top piece. When followed up, they assured it would be sorted out quickly — but it took 3 months just to get another appointment. They confirmed that appointment and didn't show up. It had to be rescheduled again, another month later now 4 months in. When they finally did show up, they brought the wrong measurements for the top piece. Another date has now been given, a month from now — bringing this to 5 months and counting, with no guarantee it will actually be completed.nnThe level of incompetence and disrespect for customers' time and patience is staggering. They make promises they don't keep, confirm appointments they don't honor, and show up unprepared when they do. Nearly half a year later, the job is still not done.nnI would not recommend Potvin to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and find a company that actually values your time and takes pride in their work.

I would absolutely not recommend this company. We purchased a new build that uses Potvin for the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Our main concern is that the kitchen island wasn't leveled properly so when the quartz was installed, the wooden panels warped terribly. Only at our PDI appointment was when we were made aware of this glaring issue, but we were told that it would be resolved and that the panels were already on order. SEVEN WEEKS later, the panels finally arrived. However, Potvin did not double check the wood colour to confirm that the panels and trim were ordered in the correct or same colour. The panels have been installed, and now we are told we will have to wait an additional unknown amount of time for the kitchen to be properly finished, since the trim will only be ordered in the right colour today! I should also mention that some of the cabinets with double doors were installed visibly crooked. We understand that mistakes happen, but to continue to make new ones instead of properly resolving the initial error, and the flippant attitude to weeks and weeks passing with no update is unacceptable. We are beyond displeased with the complete lack of attention to detail, lack of care for communicating clear and realistic timeframes and complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

Having built multiple houses, I can confidently say this was the best buying and installation experience I've had. The result is not only beautiful but also of high quality. What impressed me most was the exceptional communication throughout the project. They kept us updated at every step, clearly outlining the next stages and providing accurate timelines. For our future projects, I will definitely choose Potvin Construction.

We enjoyed the process and results with the Potvin team once we were able to get it started. Accurate timing and fantastic quality! Definitely worth the wait. We purchased additional cabinets to enclose the built in fridge. They were able to perfectly colour match the original cabinets - we are thrilled with the results. Looking forward to our next projects!!
