Portobello Inn Bed & Breakfast

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Portobello Inn. Roland was extremely accommodating and made us feel like we were home for the four days we stayed. Steve was delightful the one morning he joined us, telling us historical facts about the area and the Inn. It is a beautiful home which has many unique touches, and fantastic door stops. (Inside joke) I can not recommend it more highly.

The Inn as a whole & each room is beautiful - very well thought out design. There is an antique shop room where you get buy art, books, & other antiques. Mr. Roland & Mr. Steve are wonderful hosts & amazing cooks. They even managed to avoid our food allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, & cane sugar) & made delicious breakfasts.

Even before we arrived I knew we would feel welcomed. Roland and Steve have set the standard very high as thoughtful and accommodating innkeepers. The inn itself is an architectural gem that captured and kept our attention during our all too brief stay. The guest rooms were immaculate and decorated with a lovely mix of new and antique furnishings and decor. The breakfast, prepared by Roland, deserves a five star review of it's own. We don't have occasion to be in the area often, but may have to find a reason to return soon! Lynne & Dan

We enjoyed our stay in this relaxing and elegant setting. The breakfasts were delicious and the welcome warm and respectful. Highly recommend.
