Portneuf Valley Brewing

I like quaint, edgier places. This is that. Above average craft beer. Many vegan and vegetarian items. I tasted two items, both above average. Well above. Average pricing. I will go there again.

To be perfectly fair, I went here with a very large group. However, there was hardly anyone else there besides our group, and it still took well over an hour for me to get my salad, and even longer to get the main course I had ordered. One member of our party never did get his food, even after we'd been there for close to three hours. I also didn't think the food was worth the wait. It wasn't terrible, just not great, either. But the atmosphere was fun and the staff were all very helpful.

I love this place. They have very good beer and they will work with you on vegan options. On the weekends have great live music and from what I understand have a delicious pizza. The rest of the food look very good as well. Waitresses super friendly and locals that come in just as friendly and inviting as well. Great little find on our way up north. Have been here multiple times since.

Great brews, great food! Restored older bldg with laid back atmosphere. Room for a crowd, cozy nook's for couples and occasional local acoustic music. Surprisingly reasonably priced. If you love your beer drink it here!

Good wine and beer list with homemade of the latter. Food sometimes comes up lacking due to an overextended menu. Excellent local music, writing, and arts scene.
